About this policy
This policy describes AnyPlayer for iPad, AnyPlayer Transfer for Mac, and their official product website, published by Qinghui Meng. Updated 2026-11-04.
Your media and local settings
AnyPlayer uses files you select, import or receive to play and organize your media. Playback progress, preferences and library information are stored locally in the app. Direct file access depends on the permission and storage provider you choose. The app does not require an AnyPlayer account.
Local network transfers
When you enable wireless receiving, your device name, a discovery identifier and local IP address may be shared with devices on the same local network. Selected files travel between the devices involved. Current browser and LocalSend-compatible receiving use local HTTP; do not assume end-to-end encryption. Use a trusted network, review receive requests and turn receiving off when finished.
AnyPlayer Transfer for Mac
The Mac sender discovers nearby AnyPlayer iPads on the same local network while it is open. It sends only files you select to the iPad you choose. Device names and local addresses may be visible to participating devices. Transfers currently use local HTTP, so use a trusted private network and check the recipient before sending. The Mac sender does not require an account or a developer-operated cloud transfer service.
Developer collection and tracking
The current iPad player and Mac sender have no advertising or analytics SDK and do not provide a path for uploading your videos to a developer-operated server. Local network transfer still shares files and device metadata with the participating devices. Diagnostic information you choose to send to support is handled for investigating your request; omit private videos and unnecessary personal data.
Permissions and your choices
Files and Photos access is used when you choose to open or import media. Local network permission supports device discovery and receiving. Review or revoke permissions in iPadOS Settings. Delete imported files and app data when no longer needed. Removing an imported copy does not delete a separate original; opening in place uses the original storage location.
This website
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party embeds or tracking cookies. The light/dark preference is stored locally in your browser. A hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information and access times to deliver pages and protect the service. This website does not host your video library or receive transferred media.
Apple and external services
App Store purchase, payment, refund and diagnostic services are operated by Apple under its own privacy practices and your settings. Cloud storage providers and sites you choose to visit have their own policies. This website links to the Apple privacy policy below.
Policy updates
If the app’s information handling changes, this policy will be updated. Please review the date above. You can find practical permission and transfer instructions in the help guide.
